Based on the confirmed order, Metalic's procurement team determines the quantity and type of raw material required. They source the materials from reliable suppliers, ensuring they meet quality standards and project specifications. Raw materials are delivered to Metalic's facility and undergo incoming inspection.
Depending on the product specifications, the metal is cut or stamped into the required shapes and sizes. Precision cutting techniques like laser cutting, plasma cutting, or waterjet cutting may be used for intricate shapes. Stamping presses are used for high-volume production of simpler parts.
Individual components are joined together using various welding techniques like MIG, TIG, or spot welding. Welders follow strict procedures to ensure strong, clean, and visually appealing welds.
Welds are ground smooth for seamless transitions and an aesthetically pleasing finish. The entire product may be cleaned to remove any oils, dirt, or debris from the fabrication process.
If required, the fabricated component is sent for coating process. A protective or decorative coating (paint, powder coating, galvanizing) is applied to enhance durability and aesthetics.
All components, whether galvanized or not, are assembled into the final product. This may involve installing fasteners, hinges, or other hardware as per the design. The finished product is carefully packaged using protective materials to prevent damage during shipping.
The packaged products are labeled with shipping information. Metalic arranges for transportation by truck, ship, or other modes depending on the customer's location and delivery requirements.
